so there it was, sitting in the corner of a local thrift store, looking dejected and unloved- kind of like a pound puppy.
It was marked $19.00- as is. It was covered in dust, was missing its mount and had a few minor dings and dents, but nothing too serious, so I bought it and brought it home.
And after taking the secondary and primary mirror (4.5 inches) out for a proper cleaning, I stuck the tube assembly in the shower. I think I actually heard a sigh of relief!
I’ll need to make some sort of mount for this little guy, so stay tuned for updates.
