Mars image on the vanity

 mars-on-the-sink.JPG

You’ve seen those latent images of Jesus or the Virgin Mary on toast, tree trunks and other unusual places that people have discovered in the wild right?

Well, this morning I found this left-over image of what looks like Mars on my bathroom sink!  What could this mean?  Does it foretell some great future or miraculous event at my house?

Will I somehow strike it rich, or finally write that Pulitzer novel I’ve been thinking about???

Who knows, but I thought finding Mars on the counter was way cool.

Enjoy!

as you can probably guess, I collect stars.

Total Eclipse of the Moon

Friday, December 9th, 2011

 eclipse.JPG

For the Saturday morning early birds!

The partial phase begins at 5:45 a.m. local Albuquerque time with totality happening at 7:33 a.m.

Just make note that the moon will set at 6:58 a.m. so we won’t see any of totality.

Find a spot with an unobstructed view of the west for the best sightings of the partial phases.

The photo above is from a couple of years ago.
