Moon, Pleiades and Mercury

Moon Mercury Pleiades

After looking at objects dimmer than flea scat at the Texas Star Party, it was nice to get back home this evening and look at a bright crescent Moon (with Earthshine) above the Pleiades open star cluster and Mercury!

I love TSP, but I also like being back home after a ten hour drive.  Great to see everyone again, and will catch up and post LOTs of photos soon.

    Thanks for posting this great picture - it was all clouds and rain here, so we missed the sight in Oklahoma. Looking forward to the TSP photos.
